I do not know the correct terminology but, the flat rim that the spokes attach to I will call the "Wheel Rim" Now, I had not noticed before, but this rim is 6" wide.

The rim or bank that the cleats are attached to I will call the "band". This band in 8" wide. As I said, I did not notice the 2 inch difference till you asked about it and I went down there and looked.

This band attaches to the rim in a professional manner...it does not appear to me to be a dreamed up job by someone...

Now, having said that, how does that information match up with your farmall book?
