In 93 we had a blizzard. 14" of snow, sleet, thunderstorms, below 0 nights, ice stripping pine trees clean of limbs. (Here in NW GA). Ten years later my phone line started acting up. A tree limb had stripped the insulation off the wire and it took that long to cause problems. I'm on dialup with the AARP sponsered ISP @ $9.95 per month. Just bought a new emachines at Office Depot for $299.01 and it takes one minute to get online vs seven for my old one. I know' I've got to wait 10 weeks to get the two $50.00 rebates and then have to send copies of everything again. If a computer is three or four years old use it for a boat anchor and get a new one. Just my $299.01 + 01 cents worth. Hey, I'm restoring a 58 IH 240 Utility and have to be frugal. GA Dave.
