I had REALLY bad dial-up service, NEVER better than 26k with a separate phone line. Anyway, I switched to Wildblue. Once they got it running, it worked much faster, and I could drop the 2nd line, so the cost ended up to be the same. That was a year ago. Lately I have been having problems getting connected, I finally got them to put in a service ticket. The repair man told me that the dish was not tightened down when installed, and the wind had moved it a little. Wildblue charged me for the service call, stating that there could be many reasons why the dish came loose, and since they had my bank account # and authorization to withdraw from my account, I was SOL. I was able to get 1/2 of the service call charge removed by subscribing to their maintenance service @ 4.95 / month. Anyway, while the service seems to be pretty good, the customer service is similar to what we find on the floor of the barn. Tex
