You should've primed the pump. You may need to drop the pan and set it in a pan of clean oil to be on the safe side. Make sure you have working a oil pressure gauge. I would still pump that oil into the oil gallery. You should have the gauge installed in a pipe tee so you can shutoff the oil gallery feed. The pressure should be ok then. Hal
