Sorry if I sound like a wet blanket,BUT, a co-worker told of someone who bought a car that needed an exhaust system. Without the muffler they did not hear the knock in the engine. Try to get a muffler on it before you pick it up, or start it and hold a screw driver or shortened broom hand against the motor and try to feel for bad sounds. Good luck and I hope it always brings a good feeling to you when you hear it come alive.
