You might want to replace that ignition coil before doing anything else. If that doesn't do it you have a fuel delivery problem. Could be crud in the tank, might be the shut off valve on the sediment bowl is not fully open, maybe the fuel inlet screen in the carburetor? Some of the new needle valves have a tendency to stick closed also. Might try tapping gently on the carb bowl to see if you can jar the needle valve loose. It will probably be OK after that.
