Maybe you got it a little extra dark? I'm sure no two batches of black get the same amount of pigment. I had an old axle dust cove to match to. Never mind the nay-sayers. All the old guys that would know for sure either don't remember as good as they once did or they are dead. I think it's gonna be purty :)
