Sounds like you have picked a good combination as long as your "gently rolling" landscape is not too steep for the taller tractor and tri-cycle front end. Be careful to watch the hills for easy turn over. I have had some experience with this combo on a Cub and the only thing was stopping to shift gears. Since there is no live PTO, you must stop the PTO to shift gears. If the mower is turning at the higher RPM to mow, slow the throttle down first to lower RPM torque then stop and sfift. You may not always get the finish cut look like a newer style mower, but hey, by tommorrow no one will notice the difference. Good luck.
