Cub?? year vs casting dates

I have a Cub with a mangled Serial #. I have casting dates of Oct 49(hyd housing), Nov 49(block), and Dec 49(head). My question is this, would this have been sold as a 1949 or 1950? Would the tractor have been assembled before Jan 1,1950 with a head that was cast on Dec 6, 1949? No, I haven't found any white paint except on the grill area. Thanks in advance for your help!
