If you have the old one to go by, here is what I did on my old sicle mower... Go to your local building supply (not a big box like lowes or home depot 'cause they won't have this) and buy a iron wood(sometimes called i.p.e(pronounced ee-pay) 36" picket. Depending on availability, you may have to buy an 8' stick. They are dressed 2x2(1-1/2" x 1-1/2") and are stronger than any wood out there. They are cut from brazilian hardwood and imported to the U.S. This wood is so dense, that it can not be pressure treated. It will not open up enough to accept treatment. It is used for decks and docks on middle to upper end homes here in the South. Kevin
