Jim - I'm not familiar with the Prestolite dist on a Farmall. However if you set the points at .018 - .020 it should work fine. Then set the static timing at 0 deg (ie. top dead center). With an oddball distributor and the loader stuff in the way, your 400 sounds like a good candidate for electronic ignition!
