I am thinking this is the 2400. This tractor has forward and reverse "on the column" (lever by the steering wheel). It has a clutch but only a high and low range. There is no other shifter. I understand this model came either synchromesh or hydrostatic tranmission. Unfortunately I think mine might be hydrostatic. One of the problems is althought the engine runs strong there is a torque problem, especially in high range. When I let out the clutch it takes a while to get going and if I am on the slightest incline it doesn"t go at all. Being hydrostatic I think it is much more complicated than replacing clutch plates. Thanks for you feedback.
