Use a fine cutoff wheel in your angle grinder or your air die grinder. Just one cut , 30 secs maximum and off it comes. Go lengthwise and just barely into the shaft threads. One little scratch in that shaft won't hurt a thing

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
