ELETRIC SYSTEM ON FARMALL M

HEY THERE, I HAVE A 1944 FARMALL M AND ACCIDENTALLY A 12 VOLT BATTERY WAS HOOKED UP TO A 6 VOLT BATTERY AND A 6 VOLT SYSTEM. NOW THE TRACTOR WILL NOT FIRE AND IS GETTING NO SPARK TO THE COIL. I REPLACED THE COIL AND BATTERY ALONG WITH ALL THE FRIED WIRES. WHAT DID I DO THE SCREWED UP THE ELETRIC SYSTEM AND WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT.
