I got a ford NAA and I can tell you WHY i changed to 12v. Run a VW repair shop and it gust made since to use parts that i had laying around instead of buying them. I used a VW generator and voltage regulator. Made the conversion in about the same time it would have taken to get new parts. Conversion been working good for about 15 yrs. but i still ain't bought a new battery. You Know as I remember GrandPa and Pa just got by with what they had. have fun with your ractor.
