I have a 72" Arts Way mower under my H that does a pretty good job. My only complaint is that when I hit thick grass or taller grass {8" or taller} it leaves a strip right down the middle that is much taller than the two side blades leave. I suspect the middle blades pulley is slipping on the belt. How tight is too tight on these belts? Now I can move the belt an inch or so from side to side. Is this too much slack? I don't want to run it too tight if that will harm anything like the belt or bearings. Thanks Paul
