Wasnt getting the most out of my charging system on my farmall H so started playing with the generator a little. After grounding out one of the terminals on the generator I noticed the amp meter shot up close to 18 volts. Ive heard of some people doing this as long as you dont run your tractor real long. I thought of putting a switch to ground so I could turn it on and off for awhile while in use. Any thoughts before doing this.
