560 teledepth valve

I can't get my 560 fast hitch to work right with the valve. When I got it the linkage was unhooked and a roll pin was sheared in the rocker arm going from the valve down the the top of the transmission case. First how do you get the arm coming off the valve going to the control valve handle on the splines the right direction, I couldn't find and marks to line it up and it will go on in any position. And also does the arm coming off the valve that goes back to the hitch face forward of backward, This pin was sheared and I think it goes backward but I'm not sure.
