A- mag timing

My head must be thicker then a 2x4.
I posted for help timing my A. You guys gave me some good info. I got #1 on tdc. Rolled the top of the mag to the engine. Then cranked the engine two rounds back to tdc. Rolled the mag away from the block but no click from the inpulse.
I beleave one of you gantlemen said the dog on the govener need to be stright up and down. Mine is at about 10 o'clock. It seems to run ok but I would like to set it up rite for the best power.
