Purchase a regulator that is more in tune with your alternator. I have converted an M and an H. Not using the kit from this site. But just from Bob Melvilles wiring diagrams and some common sense. I always purchase an alternator with external regulator, then purchase a new regulator and coil. Basically I strip the tractor of all wiring and electrical systems and start from scratch. Oh, and I ditch the worthless ammeter. Put in a junction block in its place, and install a Voltmeter to let me know how the 12 V system is charging. My advice. Start from scratch and do not re-use existing components. Just my .02.
