Theere is two parts to the WP, the pump itself, and a mount adapter. The adapter, or bracket, sandwitches between the pump body and the block. It has passages in it that the water flows through. The belt lines up, but you will need a different one. A thermostat is omportant to use with a WP beacuse they will overcool and run poorly if not up to temp. A 170deg. thermostat can be placed in the top hose with a Plastic ring to keep it in place against the top engine outlet and a clamp around the ring. Be sure to put the radiator side to the radiator, or it will overheat pronto. Good luck. JimN
