Mitch: I've never looked at John Deere corn head grease, I just use Moly from the farm store. Are those JD tubes of grease as large as regular tubes of grease? I've never had steering box take that much. Stick a small stick in that top port, see how far down that grease is. You've got me baffled on this one. Are you sure you wern't wearing a Farmall hat, and the Deere dealer had half full tubes for Farmalll guys?
