Brownie Has some fine points. I would ad that the distinction between booster cables with 6 or even 10 gauge wire in very thick insulation, and jumper cables with 2 gauge or 0 gauge is dramatic. Boosters are not even good to boost (leaving them hooked between same volt batteries with the engine running) because they get so stiff they crack.

Hawling a traqctor can substantially rile up the junk in the fuel tank. I would check the flow at the carb.
