This is what I do. Take out #1 plug and turn the engine over until you feel pressure and then watch to see the piston come up to the top and then take off the inspection cover (the round or oval one) and look and see if you can see the marks in the flywheel and see how they line up with the marker on the flat cover on the front of the bellhousing. Sometime you need to take a wire brush to the flywheel to clean the marks off. It works for me anyway. Shaggy
