The 14 had a litle more HP. I think 12 and 14 respectivly. Usualy the 12 had the steering wheel shaft just over the hood, and the 14 was raised up 6-8 inches I would guess. They did convert some 12's later on. As far as the water jacket, they had a weak spot, and many were just patched over the top. Dave NE IA
