Farmall F-12

Okay im pretty new at this whole posting thing here so im sure none of you recognize me.
I am currently restoring a Farmall F-12 for a 4-H project, and was hoping you could help me out. First off i was wondering if you could tell me what year the tractor is, serial no. 7878. With factory rear steel and a single front cut off. The original block had a hole in the water jacket, so i was wondering if you could tell me what year the "new" block is, serial no 4818.

Also can anyone tell me what the difference(s) between the F-12 and F-14 are.
