My repair book shows threre is no seal in the fan hub it just has that cone thing to throw oil back from the shaft opening. The owner"s book says to check the oil level in the fan hub evey 60 hours and to use moter oil in it. There are new fan hubs that have sealed ballbearings you do not have to check on.
