400 remote valves

I found some sales literature for the 450 and it had something in it about how the valves could be switched from one-way to 2-way "with the flip of the wrist". I was wondering if the remote valves on the 400 could be switched as well. Ours has 1 2-way valve and 2 1-way valves. I'd like to put a quick-hitch on it this summer and would like to have 2-way operation on the hitch. Also are the valves difficult to rebuild? the 2-way leaks through enough that it won't hold up our 10 foot brushhog.
