Little Cow

Little Cow stood longingly watching big cow drink leisurely, the draw of her thirst taunting her. Big cow was something to be reckoned with, she stood a foot higher and had several hundred pounds over her, most of all were the dreaded horns. As far as horns went big cow had the best, about 14" horns curving gracefully so the tips were about parallel and even with her forehead. And big cow knew how to use them , she was queen of the barn and could even put Bully Bully in his place when she so deemed it appropriate. Little cow stood ever so patiently but finally her quest for the cool water began to overcome her and her fear of big cow began to wain proportionately to her thirst. Then as fast as the moment itself little cow lowered her head and stepped straight into big cow thrusting forward and up as she used the power in her legs to reef as hard as she could, the hit placed strategically behind big cow's front quarter just below the rib cage. Big cow as surprised as damaged let out a small bleah as she swung away and stepped back and away from the trough. Little cow stepped forward and drank long draughts of the clear water in the trough, the barn grew quiet but for the noise of little cow's quaffs and the hiss of the valve refurbishing the water she had just drank...heh heh..good for you I thought to myself as I pulled the stable door shut......I didn't have much to do today did I...Mike in Exeter Ontario
