There is a drain located on the cast elbow at the bottom of the pump. This comes from the bottom Rad. hose. Coolant flys out of there when the drain is opened. The radiator seems to flow pretty well. I can't understand how the pump can obviously be pushing water thru that heater hose but not up thru the block and head and into the top of the radiator. The radiator stays stone cold top and bottom. I may try removing the thermostat but I've never seen a bad one out of the box besides it was doing the same thing with the old one which tested good. You can tell there is no water flow because once it gets hot and you shut it off for a while it will heat back up in a minute once running again. I know the oil system carries away alot of the engine heat so I was concerned with poor oil flow but if it was an oiling problem the radiator should still be getting hot and showing some flow. I don't know for sure exactly how hot it is getting but it's uncomfortable to the touch and any grease deposits on the engine start to burn off.
