It might be the right one for the tractor that the engine came on, but not the right one for the tractor it is in now -- the Z castings were not cast until Jan 1954, thus unless there are only 1 or 2 replacement castings, he does not have a 1953 Super H, he has a 1954 with a 1953 engine. Therefore the serial number, although correct by your calculations is not the correct one for his tractor. I hate to see the wrong serial put on a tractor -- that tractor could still be around 100 or more years from now, at a time when no one was alive when it was built, just adding to the confusion.
