Putting a Fuel Shut-off Valve on my M

I'd like to put a fuel shut-off valve after the sediment bowl assembly on my M. I just don't trust that Chinese valve on the sedminet bowl to work properly. So, I have to cut a section out of the metal line to put in the valve, right? What's the best way to cut the line?
