Farmall H carb. still leaks

My carb. on my Farmall H still leaks from the metering nozzle clamp nut. I put the origional needle valve cage (screw driver to install) and steel tipped needle back in. I lapped the needle in with valve grinding compound. It seems to be sealing ok. I figure my leak could be comming from 2 places, the washer at the metering nozzle clamp nut or the needle valve cage washer. Those 2 washers are the same IH washer. Did anyone ever have a problem with those washers? Can I replace them with a copper ones? Is there something I could put on the washers to stop the leaks? Thanks!!
