Hello, I had a transmission noise in my H so I ripped it apart and when I was in there I found that the left bull gear has some partially chipped teeth. I need to remove it and have read all the tricks about using the bolt to push the axle out. But can I get the axle off with just removing the end retainer, closest to the wheel? This is a completely costum H. The guy I bought it from took an H and put a huge steel frame on it and put a truck front end on it. Then to top it off he put on a 72" inch bucket loader on it. So because of this it makes it really hard to pull the brake covers off to remove the bull pinion. SO to recap... Can I pull the axle out without removing axle assembly with it? Thank You, Daniel
