Decided to tackle the small gas tank on my H . The tank has about two inches of varnish in the bottom, plus junk/gunk! The line to the strainer is full of crud, and the brass tap on the bottom of the small tank will not come out completely. Should that tap be able to unscrew completely out,or will I damage it? What about filling the tank with varsol, or paint thinner, etc...., and letting it work through? Nothing is moving through at the moment, line or tap. Don't really want to remove the tank at the present time. Thanks for comments.Kent.
