Lucas,like Motorola,and Prestolite (and French Ducellier) are absolute bears to find replacements,parts,and service.Going to a one wire Delco alternator can rid you of the problem on the charging side,but someone really needs to adapt Delco starters for use in British equipment.I'm no GM fan,but Delco was and still is the brand of choice for easy availability.
