How prone is an H block to Freeze cracks??

I made 2 mistakes with a recently acquired H. First, I temporarily had water in it after doing some work on it. I didn't get a chance to put antifreeze in so when the weatherman predicted a 20-25 deg overnight temps, I drained the water out from the Radiator drain, not realizing that there is a plug on the block too. I pulled the plug today and it still had water in it so if it did crack, it didn't all drain into the crankcase.
Any thoughts? Hope I didn't wreck the block!!
