I have a 200, which is about the same thing. On mine, I could start it in neutral, but it would grind when I tried to shift. I tried all of the above stuff, then had it picked up. Turned out that one of the bolts inside the clutch had backed out a bit. After that was fixed, it would sometimes stick anyway. What I do now is to park it, chock all the wheels, lower the bush hog, and put a 2X4 between the clutch pedal and the footrest to keep the clutch plates from sticking during periods of non-use. That has helped a lot. You can also get it rolling down a hill, push in the clutch pedal, then stomp on the brake a few times to free it up. You need to plan ahead on that one :-) It can be a crazy ride. Good luck
