Safest and best way to jack up a tractor?

OK....this is probably like tractor repair 101 foe most of you guys, but I was out looking at the Farmall B today since the new bearing for the front wheel is here and it occurs to me that this tractor has one heck of a lot of clearance. Must be around two feet to the ground. Floor jack is not gonna do this. Bottle jack, nope. I do have one of those ancient screw jacks that would probably be tall enough but I am not sure I have the cohones to 1.) turn that thing up and 2.) work next to it while it is up. What is the best way to jack up a tractor of this type safely?
