Farmall 400 1955

I have a 1955 farmall 400 my great grandfather bought new in 1955 it has been on the farm ever since it has a white grill and side patches just like the 350 and 450 we have it 100% restored and avery one I see argues that it is painted wrong? It had the factory paint on it before we restored it why is it painted this way ?
