Gascolator I woudl have to disagree, if the TA lever moves when you depress the main clutch then the clutchs are not adjusted right and should be adjusted. When the main clutch is fully depresed and the TA lever pulled back the pin in the linkage between the 2 should be just snug. The thing that could happen in his case he might not be releasing the TA clutch when in TA and cause it to wear. The adjustment is critcal and should be check often.
