Please forgive me, I am sorry, "The 806 is not, argueably, the best tractor ever made" The 8s and 1206s are the best tractors ever made. I think it was Guy Fay or Andy Kruushar (SP?) who reported that 15K - 20K hrs were not uncommon when respectably used and maintained. Mine was a 1206. Yeah, they make 'em bigger; but they do not make em better. best, Phil

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
