Is it just the tie rod that's short or is the axle that short, too? Does it look like it was cut off or was it made that length? Is it just the right one or is the left like that, too? On a tie rod note, the right hand one on my Phord TLB popped out of the knuckle after only 34 years. That's too soon to be buying a new one, so I took it to my welder who popped it back in, built up the edges, and ground it smooth with a Dremel-looking device. He said it "might hold awhile." That was four years ago. Wm
