Stan: As Vern said transmission check level plug right behind brake linkage on left side, just about at point of front of left fender. Final drives each have fill plugs on inner side near front. Usually these plugs on final drive are type to use square end of 1/2" drive. Those hole are also fill to level.

Use gear oil 90W or heavier. Book calls for 3 pt. each final drive and 4 qt. without belt pulley, 5 qt. with for transmission. Personally I use 6 qts. I have an old dipstick marked for that 6 qt. level. Been using these tractors for 45 years most of those with 6 qts. in there. It keeps transmission noise lower, and improves shifting.
