Tx, I believe, but do not know, that the first issue (stuck in 5th) was due to a worn tip on the shifter lever. There are several posts in the archives here on how to weld it up and grind it to size. The Opinion of Nebraska Cowman is on target with the rest of the problem. Take out the shifter lever, look inside and use a screwdriver to line up all the slots. If it rolls, it needs the tip fix above. If it is still stuck the forks were not on the gear collars/grooves. Must have the cover off again. Good Luck, I hope it is just in two gears at once at the lever. Jim Nicholson
