I have always done this on a �to fit� basis. I usually try to measure the width of the rail and the length of the slot in the rail. Then I build accordingly. If you don�t have the cover off and the rails out this can be somewhat time consuming, but well worth the effort in the long run. Make sure you test it to verify you have a slight amount of end play and side play before you finish putting it together.

Someone may chime in here with the exact specs.
