Easy ways to mount a 140: For folks less than 30 years old: Put left foot in center of rear wheel casting, grab steering wheel in right hand and vault into the seat. For folks older than 30 years old: Leave cultivator bars on tractor year-round. Step on cultivator bar with right foot, grab steering wheel with right hand and step up to the seat. For folks needing an elevator: Requires tractor have front cultivator bars. Start tractor while standing away from left side (must be in neutral), run front hydraulic down to bottom position, walk around to right side, step onto the cultivator bar, reach over to the hydraulic controls and raise cultivator bar. Enjoy the scenery as you gain altitude. At the apex of the cultivator lift position, grab steering wheel with right hand and piroette into the seat.
