I've got a 350 here the in-laws want to sell. There are a couple problems it has that I'd like to get some info on and pass along to them. First, it has no power steering or hydraulics all of a sudden. Noticed the power steering went out while it sat in the shed a year or so ago, and manual says if hyd's are bad, won't be any power steering. Pump gets hot if it runs awhile. The manual shows where a dipstick is supposed to be, but at some point someone has plumbed in some threaded pipe and fittings to make the reservoir easier to fill. I removed the hose that is plumbed in to the drain, and it looked like good clean fluid to me, so it isn't empty anyway. The next big question would be about the TA. As far as I know it works. You can feel the change when you push it forward or pull it back. Now when you push in the clutch to stop with the TA forward, it stops like the brakes are dragging. It is harder than normal to get it out of gear when TA is forward also. If the TA is back, it rolls to a smooth stop and is easy to get out of gear. Any thoughts?
