A 16-year-old LaFayette boy died Friday after his tractor crashed into a ditch on Dennison Road in Fabius.
State police say Michael Neugebauer was on his way to Fabius-Pompey high school for tractor day. Police say Neugebauer was driving his tractor down a steep hill around 7:15am. He picked up speed, tried to pass an ATV, but clipped it instead. The tractor spun out of control and crashed into the ditch. 16-year-old Kyle Sullivan was in a trailer pulled by the tractor. He has a broken leg. The driver of the ATV, Kayla Carter, was not hurt. this was coppied out of our local news station
