Try to find out more about the trans. problem, have him describe exactly how it acts. See if the owner knows when or if the engine was rebuilt. If you have to rebuild it you'll spending big bucks, engine parts are expensive for the GD-193. Check the steering for any looseness, steering boxes can give trouble if used with a loader or abused. Does it have power steering ? The rear lift will most likely lift a large bale, don't know about loader. Does loader have a crankshaft driven pump out front or does it use tractor pump ? Not trying to talk you out of tractor (I have one like it and wouldn't think of selling it), but I you will be loosing about 100-1500 lbs. and 10-15 hp. to the Case. Let us know what you find out about it!
